Customer SupportAt Seamtek, our product line is built on computer technology, but we don't believe in technology simply for its own sake. We believe technology should provide practical solutions to common challenges, and we realize that people play a big part in making technology work in our lives. Every piece of Seamtek equipment comes with the support and know-how of every person who is part of Seamtek. ManufacturingSeamtek includes more than just the employees at our offices and plant in Sandpoint, Idaho. SmartSeal™'s modular design allows us to use specialized outside manufacturers to produce expertly crafted, pre-tested modular components for SmartSeal™. We bring these components in-house to our plant where they are inspected, tested again and assembled, one machine at a time. After assembly, each machine is rigorously tested during a 3 to 5 day "burn-in" period by a team of Seamtek technicians. When all checks are complete and the entire team has given its approval, the machine is then packed for shipment to whatever corner of the world is its final destination. Customer ServiceAs soon as Seamtek receives your Purchase Order, a professionally trained Customer Service Representative is assigned to you. He or she will follow your machine every step of the way from production through personally installing the machine at your job site and training your operator in its use. Your Customer Service Representative will then be available to you to answer questions; help you solve production problems and assist you with machine repairs. MaintenanceThe modular design of your SmartSeal™ hot air welder means downtime is virtually eliminated. Troubleshooting is routinely accomplished over the phone. If any of the critical components should ever require service, you can easily remove and/or replace them in the field. Spare components can usually be shipped within 24 hours to almost any destination in the world for fast field replacement and minimum downtime. Seamtek LabCustomer Support means more to us than supporting a customer after a sale. Many prospective customers send fabric samples for welding and/or come to visit us at the Seamtek Lab in Sandpoint, Idaho. They come for demonstrations and to try out various SmartSeal™ configurations for themselves. We love showing off what our equipment can do almost as much as our engineers love creating equipment that offers "smart" solutions to fabrication challenges. We invite you to send fabric samples for us to weld. Or better yet, come, be our guest and try SmartSeal™ out for yourself. While you're here, we'll also help you make arrangements to enjoy skiing, fishing, hunting or anything else that the beautiful mountains and lakes of North Idaho offer. The lab is also used to test new product designs and product modifications before they are released for incorporation into our product line. Industrial Strength WarrantySmartSeal™ rotary hot air welders are built to run reliably, shift after shift, year after year. We back up that claim with a full, one year warranty, on all parts and labor except for fair wear and tear items such as belts, filters and heater elements. All components are designed with obvious attachment points and labels so they can be replaced by even the most non-technical person in a matter of minutes.
